What is MoyaMpepho?

MoyaMpepho, or Impepho (African Sage), is a species of medicinal herb indigenous to the Eastern Cape of South Africa and sacred to the African people. In South Africa, Impepho is known as a healing plant with antibacterial and antiviral properties. Burned in a manner similar to incense or sage, it eliminates odors, cleanses the air and provides a calming effect to those who use it.

The burning of MoyaMpepho can assist in alleviating coughs, fevers and the symptoms of asthma related diseases by opening lungs like a natural bronchodilator.

MoyaMpepho is 100% pure, unrefined Grade A1 Impepho, ethically cultivated and wild harvested from the Eastern Cape of South Africa (outside of Mthatha). It is shipped to the United States via fair trade.

How Do You Use MoyaMpepho?

MoyaMpepho is primarily burned like incense or sage. Simply place the MoyaMpepho in an incense burning apparatus (preferably brass, ceramic or stone) and light it.

Is Using MoyaMpepho Safe?

YES, correctly burned like incense or sage, MoyaMpepho is safe and can cleanse and improve the air quality in an enclosed room/location.

Will Trade Tariffs Impact the Price of MoyaMpepho?

We are closely monitoring the situation with tariffs against South African imports, and we are firmly committed to holding off on any MoyaMpepho price increases for the remainder of 2025. If we ultimately have to adjust our prices for 2026, then we will inform our customers by November 1, 2025.
